I just have to shake my head at some of the things that my daughter says to us, it is amazing to watch this little baby turn into a little person with a mind of their own.

A week ago Alora was saying that she wanted to live with us forever and today since I am not letting her play with every new Barbie she received for Christmas. She turned to me and said Hum…..well I am moving out tomorrow. So I turned to her and said that should be easy since we own everything in this house including your clothes. Well, she stormed out mumbling something about maybe waiting a week or changing her mind and all I could think of was I am starting to sound like my parents.

She made my husband and I laugh one day and we told her that she was funny, she turned to us and smiled and said “I was born that way!â€
My daughter was brushing her teeth and she just blurted out “Mom, did you realize before you had me, that is was going to be so difficult raising me.”
I was reading some book to her at bedtime and I was having trouble with getting some of the words out and I turned to her and jokingly said that “Mommy’s lost most of her brain when she had her.â€Â She looked at me really seriously and said “Does that mean that I have most of your brain?â€
